Continuamos a utilizar combustíveis fosseis poluidores, ao invés de utilizarmos energias limpas, como por exemplo, o ar ou a água.

Um milhão de pessoas vão às ruas domingo que vem pela preservação do Planeta Terra
ResponderEliminarA manifestação vai mobilizar cidadãos em oito metrópoles do mundo: Rio de Janeiro, Nova York, Berlim, Paris, Londres, Bogotá, Melbourne e Vancouver vão, pela primeira vez, se aliar num grande ato para pressionar as autoridades a adotar fontes de energia 100% limpas — ou seja, não poluentes — até 2050.
O evento já tem a adesão de cerca de mil organizações de diversos setores. Será o maior encontro simultâneo de ativistas em prol do meio ambiente. A Caminhada pelo Clima, no Rio, dia 21, promete reunir entre 20 mil e 50 mil pessoas. O evento está previsto para começar às 10h30, no Posto 8, em Ipanema, e terminar às 14h30. O Cristo Redentor vai entrar na onda ‘verde’ nesta semana.
Serão projetados no monumento frases em quatro idiomas a favor do meio ambiente. O diretor de campanhas da Avaaz no Brasil, Michael Freitas Mohallem, afirmou esperar que a caminhada realmente pressione os líderes globais para tomarem medidas emergenciais com o objetivo de salvar nosso planeta enquanto é tempo, como um dia alertou Michael Jackson em sua canção,"Earth Song".
